Bob Ghosh
Director
Bob qualified as an architect in 1992. More recently, he became a qualified Project Manager. He has considerable experience in major urban regeneration projects. Prior to starting his own practice, he spent 7 years as a Director of Glenn Howells Architects, working on a number of prestigious commissions, including performing arts venues at Hereford, Warwick, Dunstable and Armagh in Northern Ireland. Most notably, he was responsible for the award-winning Timber Wharf in Manchester – Urban Splash’s first new build project. Since teaming up with John Shakeshaft, he has completed a number of major projects in Birmingham and Manchester. Apart from his executive role at k4, he also freelances as a masterplanner and sits on independent design review panels. He is also on the board of Flatpack Festival, one of the UK’s foremost independent Film Festivals.

Malwina Gruszecka
Architectural Assistant
Malwina studied at the Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture (Poland) where she completed her Masters degree in 2007, currently she is working towards her Part 3 Qualification. She is also a visiting tutor at Birmingham School of Architecture. Malwina has been involved in various large scale mixed use, regeneration, community and residential projects in last 5 years of her work for K4 Architects. Recently, Malwina has been co-curating and designing an exhibition with Applied Arts/Contemporary Art Museum (MAK) in Vienna, International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC) in Lubliana and Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. She also occasionally writes for Polish architecture magazines.
Martin Ball
Architectural Assistant
Martin studied fine art at Coventry University and worked as an artist before retraining as an architect, completing his part 2 qualifications in 2010 at BCU. Martin has been involved in various large scale mixed use and residential projects including Warwick Bar, Sandwell and Stoke on Trent. After graduating he worked as a freelance architectural modelmaker. Martin maintains a keen interest in architectural theory.
Kerry-Ann O’Neill
Architectural Assistant
Kerry-Ann is a Part II architectural assistant who completed her MArch qualification at the University of Liverpool in 2010. She previously worked for a national architecture firm based in Birmingham and was also an intern at MADE, where she has worked on masterplanning to small scale architectural projects. She is a BAA committee member who helps to organise events to bring together the architectural community in Birmingham and she also manages the Architecture WM website which promotes architecture and events across the West Midlands.
Nimesh Mistry
Architectural Assistant
Nimesh studied at The University of Nottingham. He was introduced to K4 via a graduate model making opportunity at MADE, and has since joined the K4 team as part I assistant. He has been involved in a variety of projects, including master planning proposal for Kidderminster. He is currently working for k4 on a luxury residential property in central London. In his spare time Nimesh is an aspiring photographer, and is naturally excited about working in Digbeth, the creative center of Birmingham.
Staś Kubasiewicz
Architectural Assistant
Staś studied at the Birmingham School of Architecture and is currently working towards his Part 3 qualifications. He has previously worked at Glenn Howells Architects on large student accommodation and exemplary sustainable residential schemes, and at Howl Associates where he worked on a number of small scale educational and public sector projects. Staś is particularly interested in regeneration / conservation projects. He is committed to high quality placemaking and sustainable architecture, which draws from history and landscape to create design that is woven into its context.
Haaris Ramzan
Architectural Assistant
Haaris graduated from the Birmingham School of Architecture in June 2011. He was subsequently nominated for the prestigious R.I.B.A Part-1 President Medal Award, and was selected to exhibit his work for the ‘Made in Birmingham Showcase 2011′. Prior to joining K4, Haaris developed a diverse level of experience working for both local and international organisations, including Birmingham City Council: Big City Plan and the International Federation of Housing and Planning. He also became heavily involved in the development and representation of Article 25, a charity organisation for humanitarian design.
Jayne Bradley
Marketing & Studio Manager
Jayne has a degree in History of Art & Design and postgraduate qualifications in cultural policy. She has worked in London and Birmingham on public art commissioning and urban regeneration work establishing a public art programme for Hackney Borough Council social housing programme. More recently she managed MADE’s Placemaking Programme and then went on to set up an Architecture Centre in South Yorkshire. She is also currently the Director of a creative consultancy, which advises on sustainable regeneration and place marketing. For k4 architects she will be managing the studio and leading on our marketing events and community consultation work.
Sarah Taylor Silverwood
PA to the Directors/Office Administrator
After receiving a first class honours degree in English from the University of Birmingham, Sarah worked at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts for two years, as well working as an artist and on curatorial projects. She went on to complete an MA in Fine Art on drawing the city of Birmingham. At K4 Architects, Sarah is PA to the Directors and responsible for PR and marketing, including graphic design work. She continues work on various other creative projects and is also on the board of directors of the arts education agency Bright Space.
